Letter from the Headteacher – 23/05/25

Back to News and Events

Dear Parents and Carers,

It is with a mix of excitement and sadness that I write to inform you that I will be leaving Court Farm at the end of this school year, to take up a one year secondment elsewhere within Broadleaf Partnership Trust.

This is an exciting opportunity to share the knowledge and experience I have gained over 14 years as your Headteacher, though of course I will miss greatly a school and community that has become a true passion of mine.

I have had the privilege of seeing generations of young people pass through our doors and I am incredibly grateful to have had the chance to work with such amazing children, staff and parents.

This school is truly a special place, where children feel safe, nurtured and listened to. The improvement journey we have been on has been hard work, but together we have built a school our community can be proud of.

I am immensely confident there is a structure in place to continue that journey in my absence, and I will let you know as soon as an interim Head is appointed. Rest assured I will only accept the best for Court Farm’s children and I would not be taking up this challenge elsewhere if I did not believe our school would be in safe hands.

I am grateful to the governors who have been immensely supportive and recognised the impact of my leadership over the long period of time and I thank all of you for your unwavering support and for being a part of the Court Farm family.

Sincerely,

Madeleine Bromley Head Teacher, Court Farm
